HCM returned to Vietnam and stayed a few weeks at Hang Pác Bó Cave and used a stone table there – the one on view is a replica as the original is in Hanoi museum. HCM had been abroad for 30 years working out how to remove the French from VN. Its a beautiful spot, surrounded by wooded hills, the stream waters very clean and you can walk to the springs’ source just below the cave. Giang and Ruby used to swim there but it’s forbidden nowadays as it is a pilgrimage destination for many VN people.
